Description
Dover Swap Shop is a bi‑monthly community event in Dover where people can swap unwanted items instead of throwing them away, helping to reduce waste and support reuse.
Shop Floor Volunteers play a key part in ensuring the Dover Swap Shop runs smoothly and is a friendly, welcoming space for the community.
Volunteers help set up the space, organise and display donated items, greet participants, explain how the Swap Shop works, and support the general flow of the event.
They also help maintain a tidy, safe environment and provide light assistance with packing down at the end of each session.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, keeping busy, and contributing to an environmentally‑positive community project.
