Description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable ‘Volunteer Mentors’ to assist clients referred from Citizens Advice who are experiencing debt and financial difficulties.

The role involves accompanying clients to meetings and appointments, helping them understand the information provided, and offering practical support throughout the process.

Full free training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend appointments and meetings with clients (e.g., debt advice sessions, creditor meetings, or related services)
  • Provide reassurance and support to clients who may feel anxious or overwhelmed
  • Help clients understand information discussed during meetings
  • Encourage clients to engage with support services and follow agreed plans
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and clear boundaries
